“The Life Electric” is designed by Daniel Libeskind and donated by the Associazione “Gli Amici di Como” to the City of Como in 2015. The statue was built inside Metalsistem facilities in Cantù and its structure was assembled and finalized on the place of its permanent exhibition to the public, on the breakwater of the city of Como. This reportage is unique as it represent the exclusive testimony of the finishing works, which took place at the beginning of August and the end of September 2015, before the inauguration of the statue on 2 October 2015. This work makes part of a larger commission executed in 2015 for Metalsistem.
